Doubting You
Begging for answers as I falter
Like the wanderer begs for water
Tell me, little darling, how you feel
Got to know that you're for real
'Cause I'm at the corner where present meets past
And I'm scared I'm falling too fast
Ghosts creeping like a bitter wind
Special ones always leave in the end
My past ridden with heartless pretenders
Those cheating, careless dream enders
I'm too young to die alone
With an older man's heart of stone
