History Changing The dust settles when you stare at me

When I see you in my mind

I can feel your velvet skin

I used to think we were meant to be

Loving the loving feeling

I became blind


I thought we could begin again

Pick up where we left off

But you changed since then

I know our love wore off


Maybe you didn't feel that way

Still you tried to get closer to me

You stole my emotions, to play

Even if there never was a 'we'

It seemed like there would be


You left me with nothing

I can't cry anymore

You took my tears


Now I feel like nothing...

Maybe I am nothing more....

Losing your attention was my greatest fear

I don't know what to do


I have lost myself too........
