lonely alone
meaningless words
for all to see
there shallow & worthless
to all but me

nobody knows
just what I feel
& only me
would know that it's real

I except all comments
good & bad
for the stories I tell
of the life I had

no doubt I will make it
I still have my home
I've learned to live with
lonely alone

heartfelt expressions
for all to see
I am a poet
