The Lovely Christina
The search has been long.
I had abandoned all hope,
To me, love was dead and gone.
But something shined into my year.
A girl with soft, golden locks
And a flower above her ear.
She wears short, flowing dresses on sunshine days
She has a scent of beauty, vanilla,
And heart warming sage.
Her pitch perfect voice seduces me,
While her eyes are as distracting as the sun.
And her body, her body moves like the sea.
She shined brighter than I had expected,
A shock to me as it was to her.
She will never realize how much she has corrected.
Her eyes stare into what I will never know.
Some place I can not describe or imagine;
A place in my soul, above and below.
My heart has turned into a stage, in a giant arena.
The spotlight beams on her as the announcer echoes,
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the lovely Christina."
