Dizzy
As the wind combs your hair,
I stop and stare to marvel
at your beautiful face.
This shining in your eyes,
tells me that you have longed for something
greater than life to come your way
and take you by the arm.
I come closer and,
fighting the urge to scream it in your ear,
I whisper silently but clear
that I am here to stay.
Glorious smiles were cast,
as you hide your face in an entanglement
of hands and arms.
The wind carries your laugh and warmth
and twists around me;
I get dizzy quite easily.
Your eyes stare into mine
as you make known
that I am no longer alone.
