And then He Rose!!!
Satan laughed wickedly unknowing of
The victory that would soon take place
Demons and their master had their drinks
At their demonic table engaging in revelry.
Day one in the tomb...
His disciples feared
He wouldn't come rising from the grave
Prepared for Him.
Already being mocked
They were ready to part ways
They argued among themselves and exchanged hurtful words
Instead of doing what Jesus commanded, "Love!"
Day two in the tomb...
"You shouldn't have denied Him!" said Thomas.
"Were you not His most loyal disciple?!" Peter speaking to Mary Magdalene.
"We should have killed the soldiers when we had the chance!"
On that late eve before the third day
The disciples gathered for communion and wept bitterly
"This hurts too much!" said Andrew
"Keep the faith," John encouraged.
On the dawn of the third day,
The disciples gathered once more to pray
"They're gonna kill us!"
"I'm ready to die for Him," Peter proclaimed boldly.
And there came a voice as loud as thunder and rushing waters from the door.
"No one dies for me. I lay it down and raise it up again."
They opened the door and fell on their faces.
For it was Jesus and He was alive, is alive and risen forever.
AMIN!
