Still Silent and what does your silence say today

does it say you are waiting for the moon to rise

or does it say that life is yet another compromise

and where does your silence get strength from

is it from the water drawn from the ancient wisdom well

or is it from the tiredness that seems to in your heart dwell

and what is your silence afraid of

is it the heights of love and freedom that it is scared off

or is it the weakness of the pain that it has been scarred from

and why is your silence so crowded

does it make noises when you are alone and unheard off

or does it come from the choking failure that you had never dreamed off

some choose silence without a choice

some choose silence as a shield

some choose silence as a weapon

and yet some choose silence as a need

some are silent for that's the best way to be

some are silent for they are waiting to be discovered please

some are silent for they are filled with peace

but

but your silence

your silence is a silence of a soldier in need
