Not from the Heart Few are the people for whom I care
Even fewer of them play this life so fair
To my dreams she catered, to my emotions she paid heed
The only goal for her was to see me succeed!

Her soul so pure, not a tad bit adulterated
The grey serenity of her eyes can never be replicated
Yet, she was the one who was more endearing to Him
He took her away from me creating a hollow within!

Tears can’t do justice to the legacy you have relished
No wrinkles can tarnish your spirit, no cancer can finish
My only aim now is to make you proud,
For I know you are watching me from above the Seventh Cloud!

A constant companion you were, a person with substance
You are a motivation dear, even in your absence!
Thy hands on my head, and mine on thy feet
Will remain there forever, it’s just a start
Gone art thou, but not from this heart!!!
