Life, and all there is in it
It really makes you think doesn’t it? Life.
What’s important? What makes us happy? What makes us feel… alive?
What are the reasons to celebrate? What are the reasons to fight?
My existence is meek, but I love every minute of it. There are times I feel the world is sitting on my shoulders. Just as there are times I feel on top of the world.
I cry for people who don’t have it as good as I do. I long to help those in need.
I look at people who are born disabled, or deformed. And I think “these people really never get a fair chance to live life to the fullest.” I mean sure, they can have a full and happy life just as any of us can. But there are certain things they may never get to know or experience in their lives.
I’ve had a lot of obstacles in my life that made things difficult for me. There were times I sat and felt sorry for myself, and didn’t know how to go on. But I can change the things about myself I’ve struggled with. So many people in this world never get that chance.
I want to do good for people. I want to change things so that everyone can have the same opportunities. But this is something I know can never be.
I just wish people could stop and look at the world the way I do. To see the beauty where it isn’t so obvious. To love every inch of this planet, even though they don’t necessarily understand it all. I love this world, and all there is in it.
Without the ugly and bizarre we wouldn’t know true beauty. Without hate and hardship, we wouldn’t know true unconditional love.
This place has so much to offer all of us. And it pains me to see so many people take that for granted. I wish more people could see what they have. And see what life really is about.
Love, beauty, and happiness.
As well as their opposites.
