Editing Instructions

Please note in the NOTES textbox below that this poem has been edited, do not put your name, please put as the following:
<!--EDITED by moderators on (Date) for (reasons).-->
DO NOT remove the line break ( <br /> ) html coding at the end of each line break, these are needed to form the correct lines.
THE CHEATIf you do not wish to delete a poem, or a certain part of a poem, and instead would like to send the url to Mick via PM for confirmation, enclose the entire poem (or part/s thereof) between <!--    and     --> (ie. <!--    POEM TEXT HERE     -->). This will still save the text, but will make it invisible from viewing (other than page source view). You could also add before the <!-- something to the effect of "This Poem under review".

what the hell just happened I

she struggles with

tormented thoughts

a stroke of genius

turned to a fit of bad luck

you see,

the love ran out

her soul was left empty

some speculate

she just wasnt ready

once she left

she knew she was gone for good

dreams forever dead

she tried all she could

to fly

visibly determined

she wouldnt waver

she remained important

she stole the souls from sleeping ghosts

beating back monsters of seething hope

a plastic stick for a sword

she thinks out-loud to herself

should I be concerned?

shouldnt I be a little worried, if nothing else?

affairs to pass the time

formal events to wear a tie

a sequence of floral patterns set to blow her mind

she sees the world around her

in invisible time

she contemplates the wonders

marvels at the randomness

of a scum turned philanthropist

of something

truly altruistic

she buttons her mouth

applies a shiny coating of red lipstick

she would never be denied

pleasures this ridiculous

an out- of- body

experiences

a certain sweetness seems to run throughout her

tasty supple skin

she undresses

slowly

her seductive dance begins

she breathes

the aroma of peace

she sucks it all in

swirls it all around

gargles it all down

her fears are left deceased

buried 35 feet

down in the bottomless ground

covered with shrubbery and firmly planted trees

she opens the window wide

sticks her head outside

her warm body hides

secrets of a fanciful life

her voice collides

heart and soul combine

she is more alive

nothing here to contrive

real as her glow

she takes it hard

and slow

so?

who are you to judge?

II

tempers will rise

the perpetual smooth ride

commences

then is swiftly upended

without pretenses

no attempts attempted

to make amends

no more than fading fake frozen friends

she waves

being brave

an affront to the fear she can not escape

she continues to take and take

lust is what she craves

buried deep in a cave

blackness shadows the truth

evasive and apparently aloof

she says nothing important

her ignorance is our living proof

she dishes

pain with no purpose

a rush to the head

stars spin

sleep tight in death

unconscious

life resumes

gasoline to comfort the bruise

black and blue

vaseline to lubricate the mood

rocks chill the booze

romantic and hidden

the white side of the moon

subdued

tranquility ensues

everything soft

at all costs

she avoids what was brought forth

for in the delivery

comes the moment where all is lost

fallen to pieces

shattered lives

battered mornings

dreary eyes

the tide

turns

footsteps churn

the perpetrator plays with fire

eventually she gets burned

forced to pay her dues

uptight and loose

serenity hung from the noose

the chair kicked out

choking on fading moments

and smoggy exhaust fumes

as her life becomes her torment

her story

yesterdays ragged news

perspective skews

bias views

subdued

returned when refused

mentally abused

justly accused

punished

for breaking very single one of gods rules

spanked in the nude

admonished

for lurking

interrupting and being ravishingly rude

scavenging for scattered rotten food

secluded

a monster on the loose

delirious and confused

hide your children

lock your doors

load your weapons

this is war

she has nothing to lose
