Blood forms a Nation
Come to the realm of the long and forgotten,
Where the almighty have fallen,
Nothing but crumbled ruins,
The king's blood runs through the cracks of the stone,
Blood that fuels the revolution like a machine,
The machines fumes like poison to the people,
No order restored,
Only death and violence,
Guillotines comes crashing down on the necks of those who oppose them,
Waving their heads on pikes as if waving their hands,
The stench of corpses roamed the streets as their souls did,
A feast for the rodents,
Rats gnawed the flesh off the dead carcasses,
Maggots forming in the muscle as the flies nested in there hearts,
A peaceful leader blinded by the scarlet mist,
Only to be put down like a dog,
But his death was not in vain,
That day,
The storm calmed,
And the river of blood did not flow,
It was evident that his sacrifice was needed to revive this nation,
Only leaving scars,
And a dark history.
