You are a planet
I am a moon
Trapped in an orbit
Around you
I can only watch your museum of seasons
Your life, your joy, your sadness
For you are miles from reach
And we still stay on this lunar track
I hope we cross paths and collide
And we explode into something
Further than the darkness can take us
Into millions of stars
Strung for several eternities
So we are never near or far
Here nor there
Both everything and nothing at once
Exploding into meteors flying by hundreds
As beacons to neighboring galaxies
That even in almost certain desolation
Love defies
