Defiance of One I look up at the sky with disobedient eyes
Take your shot, I say
Finish me off
But instead you dare not.
Because you know you cannot compare
Of what I have heard
For thy bidding
Is not deserved
Cannot be preserved
Cannot be satiated
Can never be saved
You make us your minions
Like we're your pinnacle
Of success
I'm one amongst none
But you have made me prone
Made me a monster
Of which I cannot escape
For your landscape
Has caught the gleam in my eyes
One..
