FALL ONCE fall once,
perform before the eyes you lead
end on ground where brothers bleed
become the worm and maggot feed
be the mark your people need...

fall once,
greatly clad in gallantry
to feast with wine all century
remembered by who followed thee
to view a lord to come to knee...

fall once,
upon your back look to the sky
stand fast the tears you will not cry
hold your weapon one last high
fall once a hero, a hero die...
