I feel like I'm nothing
Speaking to you on the phone
I feel like a ghost
Sitting here all alone
I spill out my heart
But you don’t do the same
These feelings they hurt me
The lack of words they drain
Looking into your eyes I see a life
But do you see my dream
When you tell me you love me
Inside I want to scream
But what do you care
You’ll just go about your way
And I’ll be left here
With nothing to say
Then late at night
I’ll write you a poem
Saying how I messed up
And how the pain just grows
And you’ll feel remorse
For making me feel like this
And you’ll apologize for it all
As I begin to cut my wrist
You’ll see the scars
And get really mad
But what should I care
When you’re just so far
And you know what I mean
I’ve said it before
But you’ll ask anyways
Because all those other times you ignored
So hear me now
I'm in love with you
And hurts me so bad
Because you never make a sound
And I feel like nothing
When we say goodbye
So I’ll be sad again
Feeling like a ghost tonight
