I’m a feather floating free
Feeling the wind rushing through me

I’m a wandering cloud in the sky
Floating in the cares of the day, watching all go by

I’m a beam of light spilling out
Finding my place on the well traveled route

I’m a story to be told
A tale of my youth so cold

I’m a boat, a sturdy force
Tossed by the waves, yet staying my course

I’m a river strong and true
Running my course straight through

I’m a girl blossoming as a flower
Standing on my strong tower

I’m ME wanting to be
All that God has for me

I am ME, no one else can be
Me! I am ME!

a fine write.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
