Crossroads
I'm approaching the crossroads
Of who I am and who I should be
Either the left or the right way
I'm told the devil has his hold on me
Who should I love?
When will I come to terms with the life I'm supposed to lead
I'm afraid to know if God has forgotten me
But the only one at fault is me
Or so they say
Stuck on the fence
But what do you do when you see the good in both sides?
Besides, it's getting uncomfortable sitting up here all alone
Maybe if somebody would lend me a hand
I could find my way down
Or I'll continue to drown in my fears
A collection of years of tears that I may or may not have cried
These words may seem dark to you
But believe me, I say them in innocence
It's no coincidence that I've come to these crossroads
Whatever road I take
It'll be to the unknown
