If This is Just a Phase... Mom,
You thought this was just a phase;
something my childish mind would pass over.
You deny the thought that you have a daughter that likes girls.
Its wrong beyond all recognition.

But...
If this is just a phase
well then why do I still want to be with her?
Why is she still every thought of mine?
Why when I tried to break up with her
did it hurt worse then any physical pain could.

Even if this is just a phase,
Something that will pass over,
Get it out of my system.
Please,
Let me feel the pain
that is meant to be felt
with a heart break.

I like this phase.
