Nightmare of the sea Alone in a hotel room, fifty floors high the light flickers,
staring through the glass, I percieve a subtle ocean that silently snickers,
distant a wave rises and sprints towards me,
trying to escape but it won't let me free...

Suddenly on a cratered beach I am found,
the sky darkens and the ocean shakes the ground,
I see people flocking in cars and caravans,
to watch this wave coming like if it was planned.

I try to escape, but I find myself running towards the sea,
greeting the wave but I just want to run, stay alive and be free,
I'm trying but I can't get away, people just start flocking towards the bay,
the wave grows bigger and bigger - higher than the hotel i hated so,
just bigger and bigger, I try to flee but i just can't seem to let go...
