Isolation Over powering are the thoughts,
The words spoken can be broken
Not strong that they are but
They are strung along

Empty without meaning
The words won’t ever come out of my mouth
I know that I might never mean them
So I will play it safe and stay in my world of doubt

My haven where I am alone
Where no one can touch me
And I’m so cold to the bone
Where love doesn’t exist
So feelings won’t be hurt

Shattered are the tears
That once were burnt
Scars, wounds, all still stinging
Though all the damage was done
Everything is left lingering
To give my heart would be a mistake
To take it back is only possible if there’s something left.
