No Such Thing As Happiness
She stumbled around her room dancing
The oh-so-corny sounds of the backstreet boys flooding her ears
"IIIIII WAAAAANNNNNNT IT THAAAAAAT WAY!!" her voice errupted from her glossy lips
She jumped around like a lunatic
Exhausted, floping onto her bed, smile slowly fading
It was nice to be happy
For once
Too bad it couldnt last
Yet she could help but wonder
What was this? This feeling?
Was it really happiness? Or just a lie?
She shrugged it off. Whatever. It didnt matter anyways.
Nothing did anymore.
The tearstained pillow seemed to be calling to her,
"Theres no such thing as happiness." she sighed, closing her eyes
"It just doesnt exist" she slowly drifted off into another world
A world where happiness swallowed her alive.
