It's Like Coming Home I’ve known you for ever
But only a day
These feelings I have
Can’t be held at bay

There’s hope between us
Now mesmerized
I lose myself
When I look in your eyes

There’s peace in your face
And a light in your soul
The play of your smile
Makes me feel whole

Peel through the layers
Look past my defenses
A whisper of your voice
Assaults my senses

Both struggling over hurdles
Leaving us raw and bare
Gently, you’ve touched my heart
The yearning is there

An angel in disguise?
My soul mate with wings?
I’m caught in your spell
And the emotion it brings


I wake in the morning
Wondering if it’s true
Is it all a dream
Or have I finally found you

Walk towards your destiny
Step into fate
Once you’ve found home
It’s never to late.
