GREMLINS I just remarked the other day,
"this microwave works so well",
there was a sudden bang, then a burning smell,
the same thing happened to with the television,
I really do believe, gremlins sit and listen,

When I did all the housework,said "now for a well earned rest",
a bird fell down the chimney,fell out of its nest,
by the time I managed to get it shoo out the door,
there was soot all over curtains, and soot all over the floor,

I hang the washing on the line, say, "its a lovely day again",
the minute that I walk indoors it begins to rain,
I keep quiet now, it gives me the jitters,
because I know whatever I say, helps them little critters..
