The Rain is My Tears
I sit by my window while the rain pours down,
And the tears stream down my face.
The blood runs cold inside my veins,
To see you and her embrace.
I think back on the times we had,
The love I thought we shared.
But now you hold her and look at her,
Something I cannot bare.
You look in my direction,
As I hide my face in shame.
You run to say you're sorry,
But it's nothing but a game.
Now it's raining harder,
And my tears are following the pace.
You run you fingers through her hair,
And gently across her face.
She goes up for a simple kiss,
But only to be denied.
The rain is letting up a bit,
Maybe things are going to be fine.
You gently say you're sorry,
For putting her through all these things.
But you're love is for someone else,
And within you heart, it's her voice that sings.
As you walk away,
The rain is at an all time high.
Who could that lucky girl be?
Oh only, only if it was me.
I hear you footsteps down that hall,
And I try to find a place to hide.
But you walk in and run to me,
And gaze into my eyes.
The tears are stained across my face,
As you hold me tighter.
"I love you with all my heart"
The sun is shining brighter.
