My Dimming LightHouse
Whispers always whispers
Cramming My brain
Share the good times
and be of good faith
Let your heart be humble
and accept the ways
of this world
Knowing
One can not change
the Depths of Peoples Minds
Of things they just can"t
see
Staring out the window and watching the Cars
from atop my High Sky Scraper
I wonder what the other folks do
And how they spend their days
How many have been blessed with a good home
And the caring of others
That make so much of their Lives
Complete
Just that certain constant
Little Whispering
That comes every Now and again.
Those Haunting
Sad ful memories of what
seemed so long ago
A growing Love and Caring that was
simply thrown away
No real reason ever given
No rewards or extra pay
Just a lonly heart
that is still beating
Wishing there was away.
Of being with you just once more.
That very first day our eyes met
and we knew it was true.
But as time turned Over
You began to change.
Secerts became a weapon
And Doubts never arose
in the mind
Emotions ran High
And we tried so very Hard.
But it didnt turn out that way.
Now I watch the dots down below
and I dream
I know which one You are.
I imigine you well and
Happy as Hell.
But as fate
would have it
Its not that case at all.
My slowly dimming Light house
Has No one
at all.
