whit rose White rose
Petals of silk
Weighed down by the raindrops
Lifted by its hopes

Petals of grace
Weighed down by the beating of a heavy hail storm
Lifted by the sunrays

Petals of thought
Weighed down by pain
Lifted by the higher promise

Petals of lost hope
Weighed down by death
Lifted by the heavens

Thorns filled with every
Ounce of hatred drained
From thy heart.

Thorns filled with every
Second of my lives lost
Dreams that have died

Thorns filled with all
Of life’s old memories that
Will be lost forever.

Petals connected
To the stem that
Holds all the many
Thorns that pierced my tears

The white rose
Is a pick of its own?
Just like the one who planted it
And the one who choose to pick it.
