Death Is Calling
Death Is Calling
No matter how much I want to I can’t!
Everything is leading me down this path of death.
Nightmares of my life awaken me,
But why do I hold back?
As I hold the blade to my wrist,
I am forced to put it down.
I stare at a bottle of pills,
Wishing myself to grab them,
But once more, my courage fails me.
My dreams take me on a journey every night.
A bullet to the head? A noose? Drown myself?
Hire someone to do it for me?
These ideas, thoughts, dreams keep getting difficult to deal with.
I am strained to accept my life and live on,
Being taunted by death.
One day, my time will come,
Where I will meet death head on.
