In the Black of Night*
Darkness spreads it's blanket across the land.
Once again the Coyote takes his stand.
To do what's been done for thousands of years.
Singing his song all alone, bringing me to tears.
He sets out to gather food for his family,
Taking only what he needs...
Knowing when Mother Nature spreads her blanket,
In the blackness of the night...darkness bleeds.
Even with the other packs,
It becomes a challenge among friends,
Becoming a game of survival for food...
Where only the strongest wins.
Taking only what they need to survive another day.
No senseless killings, it was never Natures Way.
Perhaps we should take notice, think about it a while.
Is it the Animals or we as Humans... living in the wild?
