Where Is My Creativity Hiding I've searched everywhere
Even beseeched the Lord for direction
But have not discovered the answer anywhere
I have brought it to everyone's attention

My mind continues to draw a blank
What I read about poetry often sounds absurd
Some say poetry should rhyme
Then I read non rhyming should be preferred

I am confused and uncertain what to think
Is it necessarily required to be just one or the other
Which would provide more creativity,
Perhaps the poem itself should help us to discover

For a particular write requires a structure all its' own
With a mixture of style and form
To add uniqueness of expression,
Should be the goal, rather then to conform

Words can be beautifully arranged
With a message deserving of acclaim
When the author exercises creative vision
And offers a personal variation and refrain
